House District 24 covers the Western half of Cody, the North and South Forks of the Shoshone River and the Northern half of Yellowstone National Park. We are home to part of the largest contiguous wilderness in the lower 48, the first National Park and Forest, the beginnings of Western reclamation projects with the Bill Cody Dam, the habitat of the most iconic American wildlife and a proud history of indigenous people and famous Western figures. We’ve been blessed with people wanting to visit this unique part of the world for over a hundred years and making tourism, in all its forms, the basis of our economy.
The entire state benefits directly or by association with what we have here. I want to have our voice heard in Cheyenne to make sure it’s understood what we contribute to the state beyond tax revenues and how the decisions made in the legislature affect the people in our district.
I welcome your support and need to hear your ideas and concerns about our relationship with the state and with the states relationship to Federal government. I’ll post my thoughts, opinions and positions on issues for consideration. So, feel free to let me know what you think.
